The Mount Pleasant Inn dates back to the 18th century when it was an ostlers house used for changing the horses when a coach came through the village. Now our beautiful restaurant, The Old Blacksmiths Forge was a working forge until the late 60’s.
The Mount Pleasant Inn is situated on the crossroad in the centre of the village of Nomansland on the B31371 Tiverton to South Molton road.
There is parking available at the front and back of pub. The entrance from the rear car park is through a very low door, alternatively, the front door is normal height!
We love dogs, our bar area and garden are dog friendly. We do have limited tables available for diners with dogs, so please be sure to mention your furry friend when reserving a table. Dogs do need to be kept on the lead at all times.
